Yes, we are planning to make major update of WrapX with Wrap3 algorithms, but after implementing some new scan processing functionality in Wrap3. It will take several months.
Let me explain how we see future of WrapX in general. Main idea of WrapX was batch processing. And we decided to make it through Python API. Now Wrap3 solves batch processing task in user-friendly way. It also can be run from script with easy-to-modify text-based Wrap project file. It means that almost all batching scenarios (if needed) can be scripted outside of Wrap3 with any programming language. So we see future of WrapX mainly as API which can be embedded into 3rd-party software.
