Wrap3 activate through command line

Hello,

Is is possible to register Wrap3 through the command line?
It is possible to do that with WrapX and the Python interface, and I am trying to upgrade to Wrap3 but I’d need a way to auto-activate.

Thanks

Hello, I’ve just sent you the PM with instructions.

Would it be possible to get these instructions shared as well?

Hey, sorry for the late response! I have just sent you the instructions to PM

Hi,

is it also possible that you send me the instructions…
Thanks in advance!

Hi Andy,

Have just sent you the instructions!

Could you please send me the same instructions? Thank you!

Hey, have just sent them

please can you send me these instructions for windows? (and maybe add them to your documentation or just post them in this thread!)

Hey,

Under Windows, the license file for Wrap3.3 and higher is located at
C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\R3DS\Wrap3\Licenses\*.lic
You can simply put the file in the corresponding folder on a remote machine.

that’s great, is there a way to licence per machine rather than per user? this is being installed into a classroom with multiple users and student profiles are regularly deleted.

Unfortunately no, but as soon as we release a floating server, we will replace your academic license with the floating one.
