Hey all,
I am looking at purchasing a license for Wrap or a Zwrap subscription.
I am trying to find out the differences between the two. I understand that Wrap is a stand alone application and Zwrap is a plugin for Zbrush. My question is can Wrap do things that Zwrap cannot? If so what are those things?
Much thanks,
Damian
Hello Damian,
If you are using facial expressions in your pipeline that you surely need OpticalFlowWrapping which is available only in Wrap3. Otherwise, if you don’t with facial expressions, ZWrap can resolve your needed except Texture Transfer.
ZWrap 1.0.4 contains wrapping process, rigid alignment tool, points selection like “SelectPoints” node in Wrap3. Also ZWrap contains RepainGeometry feature for non-manifold meshes and SelectComponent step for meshes which composed of several parts. And ZWrap allows masking like “PolygonSelection” Wrap3 node. All features of ZWrap based on the same algorithms as Wrap3.
All features of Wrap3 you can check in the documentation:

Please let me know if you have more questions.
