If I import my mesh to Wrap 3.3 it crashes all the time , not so with Wrap 3.
Therefore I still working with the old version.
Hello vidi,
Could you send me your mesh to ivan@russian3dscanner.com? I’ll try to reproduce this bug and fix it.
Ivan
This bug is most probably related to graphics card. What graphics card are you using? Do you have the latest graphics driver installed?
no matter which mesh I use it crash every time
not so in Wrap 3
I had just yesterday upped my graphic driver(390.77) . My card is a GTX 1060
I have try with a easy cube obj. , the same it crash
Thank you very much for the video! The graphics system has been changed a lot since 3.2. I will try to solve it as soon as possible.
I’m having the exact same issue since moving to 3.3
Running a GTX 580, latest drivers, Windows 7.
Version 3.2 no problems ever.
3.3 as soon as I load a mesh, even a cube, it immediately generates a crash report.
I have a new Computer and now it works for me also with 3.3 8)
Hey, glad it works for you. I’ve made some changes to how objects are rendered now in OpenGL so hopefully in the upcoming version this problem will be solved.
I’m very Happy with the new Version.Scaling with Gizmo is great. 8)
I can not enough describe how impress I am with your software always . All works like a brise . I sculpt in Zbrush my own Character from scatch and create from this morphs for a Character Creator Tool. No matter how different is the shape , Wrap do wrap it
I do not know an another software that do the job so nice like wrap . Also maked symmetric mesh is such a incredible nice feature without lost the vertex order . It is such a joy to work with the right tools as Content Developer . Many Many thanks for develop of Wrap !!! :-* :-* :-*
It’s an honor to hear that! Thank you so much for kind words! Please stay tuned for the upcoming release as it has a lot of usability features.
I’m still having crashing problems with Wrap 3.X on several workstations.
At first I thought that the problem was related to an AMD FirePro V7900 card.
However… I’ve removed the card, all the associated drivers and have done a clean install.
I replaced the AMD card with an Nvidia GTX 970 and installed the latest drivers… result? I can launch wrap but the moment I try to load any geometry it will crash… so the problem still remains.
I’m not sure, but I’m wondering if this problem could have anything to do with DUAL socket CPU hardware? This is a dual socket XEON machine and the crashing is consistent regardless of video card… AMD, Nvidia… still crashes.
I’ve tried running wrap on a few other workstations here… HP machines, which are also DUAL CPU XEON’s and I’m also getting crashes on those machines as well… so it’s “possible” that I’m seeing a pattern here and I’m wondering if it is related to the dual cpu hardware ?
To make matters even more interesting, I CAN run wrap on one of my i7 SINGLE CPU workstations without issue… also with a GTX 970 card and latest drivers.
What do you think? Any ideas?
Hope to hear from you !
Cheers,
