If I use Wrap to conform an already rigged face to a different shape, thereby creating a new character, can I use the same rig for the new model? In other words, can I use Wrap to drastically save time in creating rigged characters for my film project?

Sorry for the late response, we’ve been to conference for the last week.
I’m not a rigging specialist, but I know that many of our customers use Wrap specifically for these purposes. Converting the characters into some common topology is the first step in many auto-rigging pipelines. When you have all the characters in the same topology you know precisily which vertex corresponds to what part of the face. Wrap makes this step much easier but further steps are highly software and pipeline-specific. People use various custom approaches like auto-rigging scripts or fancy solutions based on optimization.
