  • Use or attempt to use another person’s account without their explicit permission.

  • Buy, sell, or otherwise trade usernames or other unique identifiers on the forum.

  • Send advertisements, chain letters, or other solicitations through the forum, or use the forum to collect personal data for commercial purposes.

  • Post advertisements for products, services, or third-party offerings without the company’s prior written approval. This includes affiliate and referral links.

Content Standards

The official language of the forum is English. Posts in other languages are permitted, but the company reserves the right to remove content it cannot verify.

Prohibited Content

You may not submit content to the forum that:

  • Is illegal, harassing, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or hateful.

  • Discriminates against any person based on race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or any other characteristic.

  • Violates any law, infringes anyone’s intellectual property rights, violates anyone’s privacy, or breaches agreements you have with others.

  • Contains malicious code, such as viruses, spyware, or phishing links.

  • Constitutes spam, including placeholder posts, empty replies (e.g., “+1” or “agreed”), or duplicate posts across multiple threads.

  • Contains pornographic, sexually explicit, or excessively violent material, including any material involving minors.

  • Promotes violence, illegal drugs, terrorism, or any other illegal activity.

  • Includes pirated software, serial numbers, cracks, unlicensed distributions, or links to any of the above.

  • Contains political campaigning, political symbols, or content intended to provoke debates on politics, religion, or divisive social issues unrelated to the forum’s subject matter.

Intellectual Property

  • Do not pass off other people’s work as your own. Do not upload files (models, textures, scripts) created by others without the author’s permission.

  • If your work is inspired by someone else’s, credit the original and link to it.

  • If you share files, ensure the license allows redistribution and credit the author.

  • If you post AI-generated content, clearly label it as such, especially if it could be mistaken for your own original work.

Self-Promotion

  • Mentioning third-party tools in the context of a workflow discussion is acceptable, provided it is not promotional in nature.

  • Sharing your own work in the Showcases & Critiques section for feedback or discussion is welcome. Links to your own tutorials are permitted if they are relevant to the thread and help answer another user’s question.

  • Systematic promotion of your channels, courses, or services without connection to an ongoing discussion is considered advertising and is not allowed.

Reporting

If you see content that violates these terms, do not respond to it — use the Flag button instead. False or malicious reports are themselves a violation of these terms.

Intellectual Property and Your Content

Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your intellectual property to the company. Likewise, nothing in these terms grants you any rights to the company’s intellectual property.

You remain solely responsible for the content you submit to the forum. You agree not to imply that your content is sponsored or endorsed by the company.

By submitting content to the forum, you grant the company a non-exclusive, worldwide license to copy, publish, display, and analyze that content for the purpose of operating and providing the forum to other users. This license ends when the content is removed from the forum and all copies have been purged from the company’s backups, caches, and other systems.

Any additional licenses you apply to your content (such as Creative Commons licenses) may continue after removal and may allow others or the company to redistribute your content.

The company is not obligated to store, maintain, or provide copies of your content.

You agree that the company will not be liable if other users violate the terms under which you licensed your content.

Enforcement

The company may investigate violations of these terms and cooperate with law enforcement authorities when necessary.

The company reserves the right to change, redact, or delete any content on the forum for any reason, including but not limited to improving readability, correcting formatting, or removing content that violates these terms.

Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, the company may, at its sole discretion:

  • Issue a private warning.

  • Edit or remove the offending content.

  • Mute your account (read-only access).

  • Temporarily suspend your account for a period of 1 to 30 days.

  • Permanently ban your account.

Severe violations — including but not limited to posting pornographic or violent content, distributing malware, or posting pirated software — may result in an immediate and permanent ban without prior warning.

Your Account

You must create an account to access certain features of the forum. When creating an account, you agree to provide a valid email address and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for all activity on your account, whether or not you authorized it, until you close your account or notify the company that it has been compromised. You agree to choose a secure password and keep it confidential. If you suspect your account has been compromised, notify the company immediately.

You may close your account at any time by emailing contact@faceform.com.

The company may restrict, suspend, or close your account if it reasonably believes you have violated these terms, or in accordance with its copyright takedown procedures.

Your Responsibility

You agree to indemnify the company against any legal claims arising from your breach of these terms, or from a breach by others using your account. Both parties agree to notify the other of relevant legal claims as soon as possible. You agree to allow the company to control the investigation, defense, and settlement of claims you would need to indemnify, and to cooperate with those efforts. The company will not agree to any settlement that admits fault on your behalf or imposes obligations on you without your prior consent.

Disclaimers

You accept all risk of using the forum and its content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the company and its suppliers provide the forum “as is,” without warranty of any kind.

The forum may contain links to third-party websites and services. The company makes no warranty about those services or their content.

Limits on Liability

Neither the company nor its suppliers will be liable for breach-of-contract damages that could not have been reasonably foreseen at the time you agreed to these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the company’s total liability for any claims related to the forum or its content is limited to €50 (fifty euros).

Feedback

The company welcomes feedback and suggestions about the forum. You agree that the company may freely use any feedback you provide without obligation to notify you, obtain your permission, or compensate you. Do not submit feedback you consider confidential or proprietary.

Termination

Either party may end this agreement at any time. When the agreement ends, your permission to use the forum also ends.

The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property and Your Content, Feedback, Your Responsibility, Disclaimers, Limits on Liability, and General Terms.

Disputes

The laws of the Republic of Armenia will govern any dispute related to these terms or your use of the forum.

You and the company agree to seek injunctions related to these terms only in the courts located in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia. Neither party will object to jurisdiction, forum, or venue in those courts.

Note for Faceform legal team: The original template includes a binding arbitration clause under AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules. Decide whether to keep arbitration or use standard court litigation, and specify the applicable jurisdiction. If your primary audience is in the EU, consider EU consumer protection requirements, which may limit the enforceability of arbitration clauses.

General Terms

If any provision of these terms is unenforceable as written but could be modified to make it enforceable, it will be changed to the minimum extent necessary. Otherwise, that provision will be severed.

You may not assign your agreement with the company. The company may assign it to any affiliate, successor, or acquirer of relevant assets.

No waiver of any breach constitutes a waiver of any other breach.

These terms represent the entire agreement between you and the company regarding use of the forum and supersede all prior agreements on the subject.
