Hello clever bit of software which is helping us in production big time thanks!
I have a few questions.
Is there a way to use selet polygons to isolate using map? So while wrapping I can use soft fade on projected areas.
Is there a way to export the rigid align point values back into maya and take the basemesh back to its origin after it’s been wrapped to scan?
How can we export batch process wrapped models in same name they have been imported to maintain naming of the models as they were batch imported?
I am getting some artifacts after decimation of scan. Some black triangles overlapping. I tried remove spike or clean geometry but they are not getting rid of them. Any way o get clean decimation mesh?

We are planning to add vertex masks so it will allow using soft fade during projection. At the same time, it will be possible to load such masks from a texture. Unfortunately, we don’t have any time estimates on when we will be able to add it.

Yes, it will be possible to do in the nearest release (very soon) with a CopyTransform node. You can join our beta-testing group on Facebook to get it before the official release.
3. How can we export batch process wrapped models in same name they have been imported to maintain naming of the models as they were batch imported?
I know it’s a pain. Right after the next release we’re starting to add Python scripting into Wrap3. With Python scripts in node params it will be trivial.

Unfortunately the decimation algorithm if far from perfect. I wish we could make it better but currenlty we simply don’t have resources for that.
