Save custom 3D scan to basemesh

Hi,

Sorry if this is a total rookie question, but I can’t seem to crack this. I’m new to using Wrap 3 (currently using the trial version), and what I’m working with is a 3D head scan and texture. I’ve managed to wrap both the texture and the scan to a basemesh so that it looks much tidier. The difficulty that I’m facing right now is that I’d like to save both the texture and the mesh as a single object (so, instead of a grey 3D head without texture, I’d like it to have the skin, eyes, and everything from the original scan)… So in other words, I’d like to take what we see in the software window once an image and mesh have been “wrapped”, and save that as a single combined object. Is there a way of doing this in Wrap 3?

Many thanks in advance!
Matt

Hi Matt,

I feel like I don’t understand your question. If what you want to do is to transfer the texture from the scan onto your base mesh after wrapping, you can do that using a TransferTexture node.

I didn’t get what you mean by saving a single combined object. Do you mean some specific file format?
