It seems the latticedeform script doesn’t have a save command attached to it and anything added from the documentation is not working as I am new to this if someone can help me figure this out.

I have just wrote you a private message. I would suggest to use Wrap3 (it’s free for you). Here is an old tutorial for DAZ wrapping. At the end you can see an example of lattice deformer:
