Hello R3DS
I have about 300 scans..
these are all half-face
after wrapping, result is not cool.
It looks like a… alien..(?)
How do I solve this issue?
and I dont know how upload that screenshots.

Hello,
The fastest way would be to send me one of those scans to andrew(at)russian3dscanner.com . Signing NDA is possible if necessary. And I will send you back a screencast of how to wrap it.
I sent a e-mail.
thank you for your favor.
Thanks, i have just sent you the answer. The main idea is to do very accurate rigid pre-alignment and to set the polygons on the back side of the basemesh’s head as free.
Hello, Andrew
I sent you e-mail yesterday.
I’ll waiting for your answer.
thank you.
Please sorry for late response!
We were busy releasing new version yesterday. I have sent you the response.
Hi, everybody! I have almost the same problem - we are working with the half-body scans (back or front views). We don’t need to stitch our scans and it is another problem to stitch different views of the non-rigid objects. We need to match scans with the model only. First we made a half-body models, but this didn’t help. The program reports that we have a none-manifold models. Manifolding function also didn’t help. So, matching a half-body scan with a full-body model with a big amount of prealignment points on the scan edges is the only way to solve the problem, isn’t it? Waiting for the answer
thanks
Hello Anna,
I see two questions here:
You’ve got to fix your basemesh to make it manifold if you want to use it in Wrap/WrapX. I can do that if you send me the scan. There are a lot of third-party tools, so that should not be a problem.
You want to figure out if WrapX can produce full-body model out of half-body scan. That depends on how similar the basemesh and the scan are. If they are and they have same position in space and same scale (same units, say centimeters) then chances are you can do wrapping with no control points at all or few control points.
