Does 3D Scan have to be resized/scaled down to view in full?

Hello!

I have a 3D scan (scale = mm) that I was trying to wrap. I used the LoadGeom node which imports it. However, when I try to zoom in or pan, parts of the Scan mesh disappear and reappear depending on how it’s moved. It won’t let me zoom out any further. I can see a little grid between the legs, which I assume I’d want to align the scan mesh to. Does this mean I have to resize the scan first? Shouldn’t Wrap take any size scan?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

P.S. SUPER bummed that Marvelous Designer is no longer supported! I was following along this video (“Marvelous Designer Custom Avatar from 3D-Scan Tutorial” Marvelous Designer Custom Avatar from 3D-Scan Tutorial) trying to learn and see there’s no updated workflow. :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

Hello! I think it’s an effect of clipping planes. You can go to Preferences (Ctrl + P) and make near clipping plane value lower. However most of Wrap3 default settings (especially for OpticalFlowWrapping) expect models in centimeter scale, so pre-scaling scans to cm scale is definitely what I would do.

P.S. Sorry about Marvelous Designer. We have a lot of troubles with this tool.

Thanks Andrew. The scale of the scan is mm. The near clipping plane value is already 1. I set it to 0.1 and nothing happened. I’ll see how I can go about scaling the scan to cm and will let you know if I get it working.
