Can not run process “./Wrap3Server”

Hi Guys,

quick question (sorry if this has been asked before, I’m new to the forums) -

Any time I want to export my work computing a frame range I’m getting the error message: “can not run process “./Wrap3Server””. It’s the same error for any type of operation, from saving multiple meshes after applying a transformation to doing an optical flow wrap. Single frames work just fine, but since the main purpose would be processing a whole performance frame by frame it’d be way to tedious to do one by one.

I’m running Wrap 3.3.12 in a closed production environment.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Cheers,

Dan

Hello dan,

Thank you for discovering this issue! Under some conditions linux version of Wrap3 wasn’t detecting correct path to Wrap3Server.

Simple solution - download updated build from our website with this problem fixed: http://downloads.russian3dscanner.com/R3DS_Wrap_3.3.12_Linux.tar.bz2

Actually I just fixed run scripts (Wrap3.sh, Wrap3Cmd.sh) so you can download new versions here (http://downloads.russian3dscanner.com/dan/Wrap3.sh, http://downloads.russian3dscanner.com/dan/Wrap3Cmd.sh) and replace those in root folder of Wrap installation. Then run Wrap3 as usual through Wrap3.sh

Thank you for looking into it so quickly!

Hi there,

We’re getting this problem too but the above links are no longer live. Could you please re-upload the modified run scripts please?

Thanks,
L

Hi!

Sorry for late reply. You can download 3.3.12 version with correct run scripts here:  https://downloads.russian3dscanner.com/Wrap/Linux/R3DS_Wrap_3.3.12_Linux.tar.bz2

Thanks for that! The build installs fine but does not give the option to input a server for floating license customers. So we can not instance Wrap3. Is there a way an input path for a server can be added?

Thanks,
L

Hi Ivan,

Can the revised run scripts for a floating license set up please?

Thanks,
Lauren
