Batch Processing of Projects

So far I am loving Wrap and the massive time savings it provides me vs. retopologizing and setting up blendshapes for dozens of scans but given the amount of time it takes to process scan data even after substantial decimation in ZBrush on a dual-Xeon system with 40 logical cores and 128GB of RAM I think the inclusion of a batch processing function would be very helpful. It would be awesome to be able to do a quick alignment for a file and then set control points, save the file, enter it into a queue and then just fire off a whole bunch before going out for a walk/coffee/bed.

As an aside, is 64-bit support something on the roadmap?

Thanks for the hard work in developing this software. I am probably the lone Cinema4D user here but it lacks the ability (to my knowledge anyways) to perform any kind of functions like MorphIt so your program is an excellent addition to my pipeline.

Hey,

Welcome to our forum and thank you for kind words!

Batch processing and Python scripting is exactly what we are working on at the moment!

We have released experimental x64 version but it crashes on some graphic cards. For now you can try it on your own risk (http://www.russian3dscanner.com/download-start-64bit) We will release it officially as soon as we fix the problem for most graphic cards.

Thank you!

Awesome! The addition of Batch Processing and a Python interface would be huge, looking forward to both additions.

Thanks for the link to the experimental build, I will give it a spin and let you know how it works out for me.
