Autodesk maya

Hi im new here.
Im ready to buy wrap3.But i would first like to know ,if i can transfer all blendshapes to autodesk maya and when they are transfered ,how do i trigger the blendshapes which are made with the blend-node in wrap3 (seen from your tutorials)or do i have to blend them again in Maya, hmm in other words what would be the pipeline for doing it correctly

Kind Regards

Hello,

It’s a common practice to produce morph targets in Wrap and then use them in Maya, so it’s perfectly possible.

The short answer is yes, you need to blend them again in Maya.

Basically for each scan you produce its representation in good production topology using Wrapping or OFWrapping node. Then you export each morph target into OBJ and load in Maya. In maya you can mask out specific parts on the morph targets and produce clean blendshape that can be further used in rig.

Hope that answers your question.

Hi again

And thanks for the answer.Just what i needed
Ill buy wrap3 later this week.

Best regards
