How do you attach a scan of the front half of a head (face around to ears) to the generic head?

I’ll do a tutorial on that part, but it will take me some time. In short, I first align the generic basemesh to a scanned face, you need to visualize how the back of the head should look like (its size and ear position) and place your basemesh as close as possible to what you want.
Then I select the back of the basemesh as free polygons and wrap the basemesh to the partial scan. Hair on a partial scan can often make this process harder so make sure to exclude hair from wrapping using free polygons mask.
Ironically, I was just wondering if this could be done. I’ll look for that tutorial.
