I’m trying the SimpleWrapping script with my own meshes…
No problem to load basemesh and head scan meshes…
no problem with the rigid aligment
then placing the points for the non rigid registration…
defining free polygons to exclude the body…
then I enter this phase and nothing seams to happen…
what am I doing wrong ?
If the basemesh is big a wrapping phase can take several minutes, just give it a time (5-10 minutes is ok for ~20K meshes). Sorry about that, it really looks like interface is freezed.
In some cases to deal with big meshes you can split the task into a series of small fast wrappings by extracting subsets of the basemesh and wrapping them independently using subset tool http://www.russian3dscanner.com/docs/WrapX/wrapFunctions.html#wrap.subset and then applying changes back using http://www.russian3dscanner.com/docs/WrapX/wrapFunctions.html#wrap.applySubset

I think it is common for us beginners.
The first few times I tried NRR I thought it had hung and kept hitting the terminate button.
Just wait - even pretty big scans (90k+) take around 10 mins on an old machine.
