Polycount

Is there a limit on the polycount ?
I see Only Bodyparts int the Videos , but can Wrap3 wrapping a whole Character ?

I think the real upper limit for polygon count is 100K. So if the full-body mesh is less than 100K, yes you can wrap it.

Ok Thank you ! I ask because, I get it not run . My Template has 28000
I have no Idea what means this error

Ok Solved. I have use a Mesh with loose Polygons (Eyelashes etc. )and converted in voxel for sculpting for creating Morphs But I had no Idea that the eyleshes and so are still in the mesh after voxelation.
I’m very Happy I’m a earlier Buyer and have now the new Wrap3 for free. And it so easy to use now 8)
Thank you for create such a outstanding program ! :-*

Is there a way to keep loose Polygon in the Template for not to break the vertex order ?
I sculpt my Morphs in 3D coat voxel mode and want it wrap to the a template without delete loose Polgons.
If I delete loose Polygons that can not use the mesh as morphtarget

I hope you understand my googlish

In next release there will be a Subset tool designed exactly for this situation.

Here is what you can do for now:

  1. Select loose polygons of the Template with SelectPolygons node.
  2. Remove them with DeletePolygons node. Lets call resulting model a clean Template.
  3. Wrap the clean Template around your 3DCoat model
  4. Use Lattice node (http://www.russian3dscanner.com/docs/Wrap3/Nodes/Lattice/Lattice.html) to apply the deformation of clean Template to the original Template with loose polygons.
Pass the original Template as first input of Lattice node, clean Template as the second input and clean wrapped Template as the third one.

Please let me know if you need more help with this!

OMG it works !!! I’m so happy !!! 8)
No Idea , I have the whole morning to try with this Lathe node already without sucess but now with your help it works perfectly .
It seems I have wrong connected all the time.

Really your tool is for me a big change in my Workflow.
Thank You again ! :-*
