Hi,
I am not sure if it is possible to accomplish in wrapx, so please clarify. Here is a zip archive: http://www9.zippyshare.com/v/XcxFNN9J/file.html It contains two files: AliceNeck and FalloutNeck. Those are two models of neck from two different games. I want to wrap portion of one mesh around the second. For example I want upper part of AliceNeck to remain intact (no changes), while middle and bottom of neck conform FalloutNeck. In such way, in this case, one could be able to attach head from one game to body from different game. Of course I am not going to use proprietary models in my work, this is only for testing purposes, to see how wrapx could help with some tedious work.
So, is it possible? And if so, please give detailed instructions. I’ve tried simple wrap and unfortunately it changes whole neck mesh. Probably I am doing something wrong.
Thanks.
Sure, I’ll do a small screen-cast for you later today!
Thank you very much.
I’m very sorry, I didn’t have time so far to perform tests. I promise to do that tomorrow. Sorry again, our team is small so sometimes we get more tasks we can accomplish in one day.
Hello,
I did a couple of tests and came to see that WrapX can not solve this kind of task. It would require freezing positions of top edges (yellow) but we do not have such function for now ![]()
Pity. ![]()
Thanks anyway.
